Hello, My name is Tuptim from Bangkok, Thailand. Born in Bangkok ,I left at 4 years old to London, England, Accompanied my father at his next posting as the Thai Ambassador to the Court of St..James. After 7 years and at the age of 11, my father was posted to West Pakistan, East Pakistan (now Bangladesh) Iran and Iraq for 5 years stationed in Karachi then moved to Islamabad towards the end of my father's term of office. We returned to Bangkok and I graduated High School from Ruam Rudee International school, Bangkok at 17yrs old. This is to illustrate I have always been an ex=pat so therefore not an issue in wanting to relocate. I retain two passports, British and Thai. I married a British expat working in Thailand, we moved to Guam where I earned my MA in Journalism from the University of Guam, Went on to receive my MA in Behavioral Psychology and practiced as a Psychotherapist for 10 years. The reason why Bhutan has been a place I wish to live is because I was invited by Count Gerald van Der Straten to dinner on Sept 5 2024, where Bhutan's Prime Minister, H.E. Dasho Ushering Tobgay made a speech that transfixed the whole room and changed my vision; that I want, in my small capacity, to help Bhutan and the Bhutanese people. I am now a widow, strong and reasonably healthy at 71 years old.
