My wife and I are considering Sri Lanka for a ”last chapter” place to drop our bags. I’ve been to Sri Lanka back in the 1990’s and fell in love with the Kandy area. Both of us are well travelled and I've live a good number of years internationally including 8 years outside of Jakarta. We both understand the developing world isn’t the US. Looking for advice from other expats as to what we could expect living around Kandy. Electrical outages, air quality, communications/tv, health care, vehicles, sanitation/water, etc. That kind of stuff.
