Staying in Mauritius During Occupational Permit Renewal

Hi,

I hope this email finds you well. My Occupational Permit (OP) is set to expire on 5th December 2024, but my employer has already submitted the application for its renewal.

Could you please confirm if I am allowed to remain in Mauritius during the renewal process, even after the expiration date, until the new permit is issued? I would greatly appreciate any guidance or documentation requirements I should fulfill to ensure compliance with local regulations.
