Visa while waiting for green card

Hello everyone !

I have a question about my father sponsoring me for a green card. (I post this question a few years ago but I cannot find it now). So my father is a US citizen and I m now 27 years old. I would want to move to the USA to work there and spend some time with my father. But I heard that if my father makes an application now for my green card, it would take 7 years before I can live over there. Is there a temporary visa that I can get as the daughter of my father ? Last time I checked I though the visa K could work for me but in fact no. I didn't find anything else because I am older than 21 years old so I am worried.

Also I study programmation (IT) but I don't have a degree in this field, I mention just in case it would help for a working visa but a want to explore my options for a family temporary visa first.
