Hello and welcome !

In the health sector chances of finding a job are quite slim. In the sense that you don't have many options. Public healthcare will employ only locals, that leaves you private clinics where you can apply for jobs. I am sure they must have plenty of demands from foreigners so obviously it slims down chances of finding a job.

Furthermore, I would think that some institutions would more likely consider applications from professionals who master both french and english (or creole our local language). We use mainly creole and french to communicate in every day life.

So, contact private clinics and send them your CV directly. You will easily find them on google.

You could potentially set up your own facility/business, for that, please contact the EDB (Economic Development Board) for in depth info : https://edbmauritius.org/

hello and welcome.

Please send in your CV to the private hospitals. Your experience as a General Practitioner should be highlighted. Public Health is a great subject, but I do not know if any of the private hospitals are interested in the concept! Good luck.
