Sittee River Village Area

Hi guys!

We are looking at a property just outside of Sittee River Village and were wondering how safe the area is. The property is 10 acres and the home we build would be relatively large to accommodate family and continuous visitors. Would this be frowned upon by locals? We would love to invest in Belize but we don't want to appear as pretentious expats and draw any animosity from the local community or feel like hoity toity intruders. We aren't, just that we would make out quite well selling our current property here as well as other assets. Thoughts?

Its One of the safest village around with wonderful locals and expats who welcomes everyone to enjoy the beauty of Sittee River 😊

We live south side of the river across the river from the village and it is very safe area.
