Time For Annual Report

Annual report fee P310.

Failure to file P200 per month.

Andy_1963

A law from 1950s. And those who have the SRRV do not have to report. What sense does this make. They should add the fee to the ACR card. A win-win situation for the permanent residents and the immigration.

WHITE ASIAN

Im out of Pinas at the moment so I have to do a Virtual with the Canberra embassy.

Apparently I dont have to pay which makes me very suspicious.....never heard of not paying for anything with the Pinas Government.

When I did my online form it gave me a red X and stated "The latest arrival record was not found. Please contact our hotline for further information and assistance".

If I rang the hotline from here in Australia I would go bankrupt on the waiting for an answer.

SRRV holders never see the inside of a BI office. PRA deals with BI on the holder's behalf. SRRV was created for a much different purpose than 13A and there is no reason for them to be the same.  Does it make sense that an orange tastes different than an apple? Well, yeah it does.

My husband just did his annual report online. There was no information available regarding how much the “extra fee” was for doing it online. Only after his interview was he told that the total fee was ₱810, the ₱500 was the online fee, but labelled “express fee” on the official receipt. Oh plus another ₱8+ for paying with a credit card. It was overall very convenient, however was quite annoyed that BI was not upfront about the ₱500 extra fee and I didn’t mince words telling the interviewer so.

@Enzyte Bob

Online fee ₱500 on top of the ₱310, plus 1% or so for using a credit card

I was told that you can only file online if you are 60 or older however I just filed from JRC office in Cebu and I am 58 no issues from immigration?

@WHITE ASIAN

sounds like there is an issue with immigration. My advice is to deal with it sooner than later. Those fines add up fast and yes there is a fee. I just paid 500P a few days ago for annual report filing

My hubby’s 56 and did his annual report online.

Thanks for replies. I just got off the phone from the embassy and they told me they dont even deal with Immigration ordeals of ACR reporting. I had to phone the hotline. Thats not gonna happen.

My know all wife of everything on earth just told me I can report in person when we fly into Gensan as we fly in on the 28th March, 2 days before the deadline, so I have just received my Annual Report (Walk-In) notification with reference number. Seems my know all of everything wife is yet again right.....as usual....

Im lead to believe nobody can do a Virtual Interview when you are not in the country.

Would be interested if anybody has a different experience to this.

Thanks for replies.

Right now you are out of country and you think you are due for an annual report, even though your passport stamp shows you have left the country. So your previous annual report would cover you up until the day you left. Now you are gone. In March 2025 you will return. For that visit you will be doing an annual report in January 2026. Does your visa require you to stay in country, or be in country in January to make the report, in order to remain in effect?

WHITE ASIAN

hmmm...well, we left late March 2024.

Visa Type SEC 13A

ACR Card Expiry Date: 11TH April 2028

Issued 10TH January 2023

Visa Valid until: Permanent.

Morgacj200424

I am scheduled for my permanent 13A visa interview later today in Cebu. JRC is helping me in this matter. I was told you are not supposed to be gone from the Philippines for more than 6 months at a time or you are technically in violation of the conditions of the 13A Visa?

WHITE ASIAN

Not that im aware of...ask...I would be interested in what they have to say.

I have never read that anywhere unless it is new *?*

@Morgacj200424

I believe this is only during the probationary period

I had some business in the US that went longer than expected 6/2023 to 01/2024

My probationary 13A was cancelled. Told I could reapply next day if wanted

now on a Balikbayan visa as we travel outside Philippines at least once a year

WHITE ASIAN

Sounds like im going to be having an interesting conversation with the immigration dept in Gensan.

gregparker6201

I went through immigration in Cebu (live in Davao)

As with a lot of things here, interpretation of the law appears to be left up to the individual official. You are dealing with at the time

You may have no issues

Ok Thanks

I suspect the rules are written down and apply to everyone. I also suspect that there will be varying levels of understanding amongst officers as to how the rules are interpreted.

All I can find is something that is up to interpretation. Can I say I have maintained residency if it is Jan 2025 and I have been put of country since March 2024? And English is spoken here but often with different nuances and understandings. Can a lawyer help? He may say he can but I doubt it. Maybe some visa agency would have some experience in previous interpretations.

7. Maintaining Residency

To maintain the 13(A) visa status, the foreign national must continue to live in the Philippines. Any changes in residence or status should be promptly reported to the Bureau of Immigration (BI).
