Moving to Switzerland 2025/6 - HELP!

Dear Forum,

I am a qualified English Teacher of three years, highly educated and motivated to progress in my career and with the greatest hopes of joining my future spouse in Zurich in the next year. To offer context to my situation, I have been with my dearest partner for five years now - in long distance - with him living in Sweden working as a Physics researcher (within the settled status scheme as a UK citizen) and now he is at the end of his contract it looks as if his career will take him to Switzerland. Of course, distance is not the ideal situation with me living in the UK currently. I have applied for several education roles but they are incredibly competitive or the schools offer preference to Swiss/EU passport holders.

My general reasoning for joining the forum is therefore for two reasons: Either help finding a job where I can relocate myself (I have various applicable skills/experience e.g., data and statistical analysis, Managerial, Working with SEN/ESL/ELL, Admin etc.) and/or help in understanding the family reunification process. For the FRP the context is that me and my boyfriend plan to get a civil partnership, with the hope that if he gets his job I can join him on this visa. I know that British citizens have a separate pool of visa's to other third national countries, however, our main concern/question is how much money does the canton of Zurich expect him to earn for me to be able to move with him? We emailed the migration agency but they are of course busy.
