Advisor for setting up Company and residence

Post new topic

nicholasmound

Hi Everyone, my name is Nick and I am new to the Forum and happy to meet you all.

I am looking for recommendations for an Advisor, as my situation is not that straightforward.  I need to open a Company in Mauritius as my Employer is based in Malta and will only pay my salary into a Company (not directly to me), when I move to Mauritius. I also need residence for myself (61), my wife (67) and our Dog.

Currently I am a UK resident.  Any recommendations would be appreciated so we can move forward with our plan to live in Mauritius.  Many thanks.

My husband is in the exact same situation - he has retired from his main role and wishes to continue working as a consultant for a Swiss company, who are only prepared to pay his fees into a company account, not a personal account. He got several quotes from Mauritian companies who would be able to assist, and there was a huge variation in the prices quoted, so it's worth doing the same. We have now moved to Mauritius and obtained residency via the PDS scheme. The company setup process is still ongoing, so allow yourself plenty of time for that. Good luck!
