Passport matter

I'm fine over for 2 weeks in April,  I have 3 months  left on my passport  when I get back to England,  wizz air said ok to fly, but worried  about Cyprus  end will they except  my passport?

It depends on whether that is "3 months left until 10 years from the issue date": that's not always the same as the expiry date!

(If you renewed your passport you may have had the unexpired months from the old one added on to the new one, but many countries won't accept that - I'm not sure whether Cyprus is one of them!)

Can you not get the passport renewal expedited before flying? Were it me the possibility of hassle would play on my mind.

I like to get things sorted, hate uncertainty.

I got a new uk passport  by express service. Two train trips to Wales to drop off and then collect the new passport 2 days later.

It was a bit of an effort, but well worth it.


Many countries require 6 months remaining on your passport before they let you in. You may get away with using your expiring passport,  but personallly i wouldn't put myself through this stress, especially when getting a new passport is quick.

Neptune3 ....  Totally agree although I tend to double check everything.

On the other hand that might be why life seldom throws me curve balls.
