Opening a bank account in Montenegro

Post new topic

Julien

Hi all,

is it difficult for expats to open a bank account in Montenegro ?

Which documents are required to open a bank account in Montenegro ?

How long does it take to open it ?

Is there any restriction for expats regarding the services (loans for instance)  ?

Which bank would you recommend ?

Thanks in advance for your participation,

It's easy. To open an account, you only need your passport. Usually it takes from five till ten minutes. You can get visa and master, connected to your account (I heard about amex, but I'm not sure about it). I don't know about other services, because I have never use it. As for me, CKB (Centralna Kommercialna Banka) and Hipotekarna banka is ok. Usually, in Hipotekarna you don't need to wait much time.

thanks for the info :)
