Opening a bank account in the Bahamas
Hi all, is it difficult for expats to open a bank account in the Bahamas ? Which documents are required to open a bank account in the Bahamas ? How long does it take to open it ? Is there any restriction for expats regarding the services (loans for instance) ? Which bank would you recommend ? Thanks in advance for your participation, Julien

Call the individual banks and they will give you the info. We work with Scotia and so far so good.You will need to figure out whether you want an US$ account of a Bahamian$ account. There is a difference. Some of us have to open both
