Guys,

I have been an active reader of forums, blogs and articles on this web site for a month now. It does simply amaze me the information you people are pouring in for folks like me who are or will be new to this country. Bravo

Do I have to have Iqama to sign the rental lease? Coz I will be travelling on Business Visa initially.

What you guys think or know about Choueifat School Riyadh aka AbdulAziz International School.

Welcome P 6 in advance to Riyadh and of course Expat-Blog too.

Yes, you'll need an Iqama for a rental lease. Real estate offices will ask for your iqama copy plus a letter from your employer stating the demographics, confirmation on employment status and salary etc. If you rent a family residence, you'll have to give them the iqama copy of your wife as well.

About the school, best u have a look at the school urself. I did, it has no facilities for kids on premises and very few after school for kids. Best u be the judge!! I believe kids shud have a balance of both academics and sports - and this school has none!
