Bali Earthquake October 13th 2011

Just took a couple of photos after the earthquake here in Bali - it seems that Carrefour on Sunset Road was worst affected with shattered glass and lots of rubble. A friend inside said it took around 2-3mins to get out...must have been terrifying. I was on the 3rd floor of the school I work at - not the best place but no injuries!

I got a notification on my phone about this one.

If you sign up at http://www.usgs.gov/
You can get free emails of any quakes in the area you define.

I set mine to cover Java plus some other bits, mentioning quakes above 5.0.
Anything less than a 5 is like a heavy truck passing and hardly worth a mention - Unless it's very shallow.
