Hi,

I am moving to Denmark next month and looking for an apartment in Osterbro. I would like a studio or one room apt with separate bathroom and ability to have a washing machine in the bathroom and walking distance to the train station
How can I go about finding a suitable place?- any real estates or websites or private ppl out there to help?????

Following are the genuine rental websites. You get for both long & short term basis. Some inquiries in the below sites will have contact details and for some inquiries you have to register by paying a nominal fees.

www.dba.dkwww.legebolig.dkwww.scandiahousing.dkwww.boligbasen.dk

Dont be surprised you may find the same apartment inquiry in multiple sites. The Transportation in copenhagen is well connected hence I recommend you expand your search option to other zones if you dont find a good one in Osterport

All the best and welcome to KBH

luveurope, I hope you've found an apartment in Østerbro and moved here safely.

Just in case you have not found you should definitely check out the sites provides by NRS. Den Blå Avis (www.dba.dk) is in Danish but if you can find someone to help you out it is a great place to look for an apartment.

You should also try the site http://www.boligportal.dk/en/,http://www.lejebolig.net/

Generally if you type in Google "leje bolig" (rent accomodation) you will find lots of places to start your search.

Most importantly you should find a place and if you don't like it (price, location etc.) you can always change it like Julie said in Episode #3 http://www.mydenmarktv.com/2009/06/17/e … staurants/

Good luck!
