The British embassy in Kuwait has suspended its services after what has been described as a terrorist threat against it.

The Foreign Office said on Thursday it was "aware of an increased terrorist threat" against the embassy and had suspended the services as a precaution.

It would not comment on the nature of the threat or how long services were expected to be affected.

The Foreign Office said it could not rule out threats to other British interests in Kuwait and has urged British businesses and organisations to review their own security procedures.

I'm willing to bet all British nationals residing in kuwait were already informed of this via email sometime earlier.
