pikeev

Yes!

vishal vik

can u addme in msn so that we can chat

all i know is :In order to get a work visa or an occupation permit in Mauritius, you must get a work contract or a valid job offer from an employer in the island beforehand (see section «working in Mauritius»). To begin with, send prospective applications to foreign companies implanted in Mauritius. You can also find a multitude of websites offering joblistings in the island.

do yo u have an employer s name?
or have u got  a job offer here in mauritius  or its  now that  you are searching?

pikeev

I plan to work at the hotel. And in the future - to get a residence permit

pikeev

let me try and help with what I can remember:

i)    Medical – Hepatitis, HIV and Lung x-ray.  You just need an appointment with a GP and they will know what you need and start the ball rolling but this is time consuming so have the appointment ready for when you arrive.
ii)    Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate, Passport (need to show originals and have copies certified by either a GP or a legal person)
iii)    Contract of Employment showing salary ABOVE RS45k per month
iv)    You will need certified copies of your employers business registration card, certificate of incorporation and shareholder agreement

Actually, there is a checklist of what you need including all forms on http://www.worknlive.mu/Resource.aspx

If on the other hand you are investing or sating up yourself, you need all of the above with the addition of USD$100k in your Mauritian bank account, but getting a bank account without the permit wont be easy!
