Saudi Business Visit Visa for Canadian citizens

My question is:

If a Canadian citizen is already in Middle east and need to get the Saudi business visa processed, Could it be done through Canadian Embassy in Bahrain or UAE?

I am aware that for work visas, it is must to go back to Canada and get it stamped there but not sure about Business Visa.

Any Advice/Suggestion would be much appreciated.

I am american and i got my visa from UAE, but i used to have what they call Iqama there. So if you want a business visa you should get one from your residancy place.

Thanks for taking out time and replying, i've also contacted some local travel agents in Saudia but you know how lazy they are to respond. Let's see...

I'll keep you guys posted, because i think due to new Nitaqat Law(traffic signal - green, yellow and red), more and more companies will get foreigners on back to back business visa's.
