Stackable Washer and Dryer Recommendations

I bought a regular washwer and dryer when I first moved here. After a while I bought a stacking kit where I bought my appliances. It only took a while to stack the two and it saved a lot of room.

i have an electrolux washer dryer set, which I thought was a good balance between quality and price - the stacking kit is a simple frame to link the two together.  Have used it for more than a year and half and no problems so far.

I just looked at my friend's w & d.  It's a Samsung washer and an Electrolux "Active Care" drier.

I was just on the Electrolux website and the exact washer I have seems to have discontinued but is almost identical to the EWF85761 washer.  I have the EDV600 dryer.
