I am ukrainian and my husband is egyptian. We would like to go to Ukraine and take charter flight from Sharm or Hurghada as regular flight is not comfortable for us.
If somebody from egyptians has experience in taking charters and if so, have you got any troubles at the airport?
Thank you.

For Egyptians, they must take a permission to fly in charter,,,,i was going to use it and they told me that rule

ukr.dev85

where we can take that permission from?

The Egyptian

Airport general manager ... and they rarely give it

Thnak you.

My previous reply was a little bit brief as I was replying from my phone.

I have met a man whose wife lives in Lviv and the problem for him was that there are no direct international flights to Lviv. He managed to get the permission to fly charter, but after - literally - begging the airport manager (who happens to be a military officer with a rotten mentality) .......

If I may ask why isn't it comfortable to fly non-charter? Is it a route problem, or to fly directly, or to save money?

I got my visa and I am planning to go to Ukraine with my wife in April/May .... I think we will fly with Turkish Airlines

They are the best, and if you look for which day in the week you have the shortest stopover time in Istanbul, it will be very comfortable. My mother-in-law flew in here on a Monday from Odessa, the stopover in Istanbul was only One hour thirty five minutes, total trip time was 6 or 7 hours, and a round trip ticket cost around $550.

Also you have to note, if your husband has a visit visa, he can only enter Ukraine if he has a round trip or a return ticket. When he gets his residence visa, he can go with a one-way ticket.

So first answer me please, how he can get his residence visa because he still doesn't have! It is very important question for us.
About flights. You know there are no any direct flights from Cairo to Ukraine. Even by Turkish airlines you must land in Istambul, wait 2-3 hours and go again. I am pregnant now and for me is not good to take 2 flights (CAI-IST, IST-DNK), also waiting at the airport makes me tired. So we wanted come to Sharm, spend there 1-2 days to rest and go again.

Send me your husbands mobile number and we can talk about it
