Downtown San Ignacio improvements

I go to San Ignacio every Saturday for the Market.

For the last 3 weeks since I got back from vacation I notice downtown San Ignacio is actually getting a sewer installed underground.

Also downtown just above the Market is getting completely changed and upgraded. Wounder where all this money is coming from?

This has to be good for future real estate prices. (No I am not an agent.)

Anyway does anyone in San Ignacio know more about what is going on?

Looks like San Ignacio is moving up in the world.

Yes, Eric, San Ignacio is getting a brand new Visitor Center. Not sure where the money came from either. I just hope when it\'s done it keeps the charm of the town in tact, as well as provides more parking.

Not sure it will do much for real estate prices, but only time will tell huh?

Based on what i am seeing, I do not think the changes will harm the charm.

Someone is dumping a ton of money on this. It looks like more than a visitor center.

There has to be a reason someone is spending this kind of money. Something is in the works here. Hope they have addressed the issue with Guatemalan owned tourist businesses.

The sewer system itself will help if nothing more than perception of the area. Expats like sewer systems.

I like San Ignacio and have been thinking for a while i need a small place there to get away from the jungle from time to time.

Excited to see what the changes will actually look like.
