Hey guys.

I've been told by a friend that for people (like myself) who are in Turkey for more than 3 months will now not be able to just re-new a Visit Visa every 90 days. They are bringing in a new law which basically is 90 days in, 90 days out.

They tried it before, but it didn't work as they never gave an offical start date.. where as now they have. From what I know it will be coming into place on February 1st 2012, way before the before the summer season starts.

Don't know how many of you this will effect, but wanted to give you all a heads-up and find out if anyone knows more on the subject.

They have reduced residency charges down to around 50 pounds. They expect you to show around 300 dollars in your bank account for each month you intend to reside here.
