Im going to Adana this month and have a layover in istanbul where i will get my 90 day visa sticker. Ive read a bunch of horror stories online about about entry/exit at the airport. Naturally im a lil worried about the possibility of things not going so smooth. Is it really that difficult? how was your experience?

Any american expat willing to help me? :/

ok...i just read online somewhere that i shouldnt bring my cell phone with me..and if i do i need to make sure its registered and on my passport? anybody know anything about this? i just bought a new worldwide capable phone and set up international service specifically for this trip..and it would be a real bummer to have it confiscated (that's what i heard will happen if not registered)

hi dear.its nutting to panic at airport, turkish immigration is very easy.and u can bring any of ur cell phone along with u,but u shuld not bring 2-3 i phone then it will be problem at airport and they stop that cell phones.and u can register ur cell phone after u reach turkey by giving ur passport copy and it takes 24-48 hours to activate.okay all the best dear :)
