queries abt commutation in bahrain

Post new topic

Ali Imran

hello members of the forum,

I would like to know the average taxi fare from the airport to the Sheraton Towers (adliya)?

I have done my reaserch over the internet and found that buses are not used as a means of commutation in Bahrain, unlike Dubai. why is that? arent there enough buses? for eg. for travelling daily from Juffair to the Diplomatic Area, aint there a proper bus route?

Thanks

Hag

I don't use the public transport system myself and I don't know much about it but there are buses, I've seen them.  How reliable they are and how often they travel between locations I don't know.  I rent a car for 150BD per month and I think it's better.  I must admit, I do go out on the road with trepidation but it's a necessary evil.  Did a very quick search and I can't find anything on the PT system in Bahrain.  Taxi fare should be no more than 7-8BD and I think it's probably less.
