Alternatively enjoy and immerse yourself in the rich musical heritage of East Africa and help to preserve it against the relentless march of western influences!!!

You should listen to Bella Fleck, an amazing American bluegrass banjo player and equally amazing west African musicians. The fusion is quite incredible and surely fusion is what we should all be aiming for!

I'm not so sure if I want to live in a homogenous world, where western culture is uppermost.  For example:  My Wife is a kikuyu. Their customs, music, dress and dance have largely gone and it is sad to think that her generation may well be the last one to speak the language extensively  - all steamrollered into oblivion by western culture.  I'm for diversity!
