I have been back and forth, 5 times now in 3 years, Makati. Was saying to myself all of these business do not make any money especially the malls, none of those stores make any money. I have been to plenty of different malls all around Makati. When I go food shopping Hypermarket,  No one ever in that store but you have a million workers, same thing with cash and carry, except on the weekends cash and carry could get pretty busy.  As far as I could see Kentucky fried chicken, Mcdonalds, Jollibees, Chow King, and even some of the resturants in the mall. Do very well. Now I am thinking I would like to go back to work and make money just got married over a year ago.  Was thinking of opening a Chow King, or travel to the Middle East. If anybody was thinking like me and would like to open a fast food resturaunt get in touch with me.

My wife and I have always been interested in opening a fast food business like Chow King or McDonalds, are you looking for partners, or someone to run it?

Funny thing I always say that in the Malls I never see many carrying purchases, I think it's just a day out and for Air Cond.
Look it's been our experiences that making money in business in Phills is very hard but food business seem to do well.
My only though about franchises like McDonald is that the fees
applied by franchies could be prohibitive also the initial cost of buying the franchise has to be amotized over the time you are in that business.
I think that a good canteen close to a private school could be a better bet, as the start up cost would be way less and the running cost would not be restricted by the franshise.

We had one in Mandaue City, a canteen that is, problem was the location was all wrong which surprised me it was a busy area turns out the people were either in a hurry to get to work or get home no one during the non rush hours except a Honda dealer who set up a contract to feed all their employees which helped. We just broke even. Only spent about Php 55,000 setting it up so not a big loss. We ended up just closing it down. I think the pharmacy will also be a little store also.
