Scottish Property Solicitor looking for work in Manama ?

Hello everyone!

My partner and I are really keen to move to Bahrain, Keir ( my partner) has worked as a property solicitor in the highlands of Scotland, and this second property crash has left him redundant! He has 3 years PQE, he also has 2 years procurement experience, we have registered with recruitment agency Clarendon and Parker but no reply as yet? Could anyone recommend an agency they have dealt with ? Or does anyone have connections with any estate agents for a job opportunity?(Manama) We have 2 children 4 and 6 months (Laura and Harry) and we would love to start a new life in Bahrain, the Scottish highlands is not the place to progress for us! So we want to take a chance on something different. We have friends moving to Bahrain next summer, and would love to go on the adventure with them! We are good people that have had some bad luck! But life is what you make it! We are positive and willing to try new things and meet new people!

Anyone willing to take the time to offer advice? It will be greatly received!!!

Hey Kar & Keir.

There are a few agencies out her that might be worth contacting, but I think for the specific types of role he's looking for would require direct contact with Solicitor's Firms on the Island.

Try looking online at Gulf Talent, M2R Global, Talent 2, AL Jazeera Jobs, Naukri Gulf, Monster Gulf, Gulf Jobs, The Gulf Daily News website; have a look for banks and property company websites and leads might develop from there.  Linked-In is another good resource and there are a good few Bahrain based groups on it.
