Hi khewwai, thank you for respondinging. Am glasd to find another fishing enthusiast here. May I ask what method/s of fishing you are currently employing?

Personally, my main interest lies in the deepseas angling and our favorite playgrounds are now off season due to the NE Monsoon and once it clears up, we shall be ready and hope you are too.

Is there any fish here in Singapore? Do you go and spear fishing or not. I would love to join you guys if there is any good fishing here in this sea.

Hi IanvW, thanks for your response. Indeed there are places where one can fish locally. Spear fishing is not popular though. The most popular local fishing spots are generally centred around the Southern Islands, Changi and the western sides such as Jurong, Tuas etc. Boats are also available for charting or you may also join boats which cater to individuals eventually making up a boatload.
