From Ireland to PNG...that is the question?????

Post new topic

Dazhogan

Hi, my wife has been offered a job in POM, PNG on $80,000 us per annum. Our accommodation is included. It is based for 2 years. We have no children and are in our late 30's. If there are any Irish to give us advice on food, eating out, safety, general advice really would help. The weather also. Also is there places you can see English premiership football!! :) Thank you!

Hi there,

PNG is an adventure!  At that pay with accommodation included you should do quite well.  I have worked in Port Moresby for a couple of months in two bites and I love it but it's not for everyone.

If you an't working you'll need to think about what you're going to do in country.  Study?  Could be a good chance as long as you have internet access.

Good luck - I love the place - I'd say go for it!
