Archery in Jubail?

The Kazoo Sutra

I am considering a transfer to Jubail in a couple of months and I am wondering if it is worth trying to get my bow & arrow kit in with my belongings.  First: Would it be considered a "weapon" and refused entry (note that I use Olympic-style target rather than hunting tips and I brought two sets into Qatar without any problems).  Second: Are there any designated facilities in the area where I could practice, such as a gun range or proper archery range?

As far I am here more than a year never come across about the facility around Jubail. I am using sport tip.

I like this sport as well and back home i have a compound type archery. Using Eston arrow from aluminium alloy and graphite. If you found one just let me know.

But i believe it won't allow here. If found in your car I think immediately been arrested.

I happened to run into one of the upper-level international archery coaches at the Olympic team's range here in Qatar and he said that the GCC covernments consider archery equipment to be "sport accessories" and we should have no problem bringing our gear in or transporting/using it in Saudi, so long as we use the target tips and not hunting tips.  Considering his position, I guerss he should know.
