Hi All
Have been meaning to say something for ages! The amount of views compared to the amount of replies is shocking. People are looking, however why aren't people replying? I know not everyone will have a response, but come on, make the effort!
Also, do 'The Team' not have any more information to provide, do you not have any country specific information that you've researched? Its nice to welcome people, however it would equally be nice if you could info that you've researched. This is just my opinion.
Thank you.

I try and reply to posts where I have personal experience and - I hope - some useful information that I can provide. However, to be perfectly honest, it does get a bit boring repeating the same old comments, cost of living, where to find cheap accommodation, how and where to get a job, how to fiddle the system - because people do ask that before everyone jumps on their high horse, is there an ex-pat club, how to import your vehicle, because I am British will I be treated specially, and loads of comments on the lines of - it's grey and cold and wet in the Uk and depressing so I want to move to Gibraltar because they speak English and it is sunny.
And with regard to the last one it is grey and wet today and most Gibraltarians speak in Llanito to each other.
But anyway.... I try and provide a realistic point of view so that all the want to move out heres for a better life are as well informed as they can be. eg if you are an accountant or in the gaming industry you have a better chance of getting a job. But if you are - you might as well apply from the Uk and get all your removal costs (I don't mean you personally).
I think it is a bit unfair to criticise 'The Team' for not doing research on every individual country. I think what they really want are people on the ground who can provide personal experience and reliable - ish information, rather than something from a book or a website - and they see their role as generating discussion. Just my two gib two pence.
Repeat questions there is a search function, so that could provide information. Also the forum users should be directed to the forum categories already set up Right now there is just a list of random questions! There should also be a New Post category so that anyone can read anything new, under any category that relates to them.
Ive not seen anywhere where the Team has provided the information, they seem to be asking for questions or welcoming people to the forum. A high percentage of people are viewing posts and not commenting, therefore if the Team are expecting others to provide the information, thats not really happening, as the numbers just viewing speak for themselves. As this is the case, then I think the Team should perhaps look at this. There are other teams/moderators on other discussion boards who provide so much information on Gib and Spain
