I'm driving my second Honda CRV 2.2 Diesel brilliant car. However a new shape is due out later this year which may reduce any resale value of the older model!

In Bahrain, you'll not face any issues to sell a Toyota or a Nissan car if the price matches its condition of course. These brands are popular here with locals and expats as well.
For Honda, I'm not that sure. There are not too many of them on the road so it might be a little more difficult to sell.

You are replying to a message posted in January... I hope that CATALKHOBAR made up his mind since then :p
Furthermore here in the Middle East what you say isn't true. If you have a Nissan or a Toyota, whatever the model, the mileage and the condition, you will sell it usually within a week. If you have a brand which is not well known and having a good reputation among the locals it will take long to sell it, even if you slash the price.
Ten years back, Mitsubishi was very popular here. It's not anymore because of the agent's laxity. A Pajero was sold in 2-3 days before, now it takes month.

I guess it's wiser to know a little bit the country before giving advices to the members
