Hi all, Im a newby - hope you are all well :)

My Granda is from the Ukraine, he sadly passed away two days after Christmas, me, my Mum and Granny would really like to put in Ukrainian "At Rest" on his grave stone.

I have tried using the online translator but would really appreciate knowing for definiate that we are saying the correct thing.

Thanks again.

It has been some time since you posted this question, in case you still wish to know, the correct phase would be:

"Вічная пам'ять", phonetically "Vichnaya Pamyat", meaning eternal memory.

At Rest, or Rest in Peace is not a phrase commonly used in Ukrainian.
