Hi everyone.
I would like to teach at an international school in Germany. I am older than most and would like to know what subjects would be best to teach?
I am in my mid fifties and I am not ready to retire!
I would appreciate any information.
Thank you.

An educational university degree is required for teaching at German schools. Do you have one?
There is a shortage of teachers in scientific/technical subjects and an oversupply in languages and humanities.

Thank you Beppi,
I am finishing my studies, another year to go.
Thanks so much for your reply.
Another question, I am  US citizen, should I finish my studies in Germany? Would I then apply for work and resdence visa?
Thank you.

US Citizens don't need a VISA to enter Germany. You can mention the reason to the immigration , get a job and get work permit from local administrative office.

I was under the impression I needed to apply before I left the States.
Vagesan, I appreciate the information. Thank you.
