One person stole it from my hand on Jan, 31st morning 9an on my way to the busstop. I have lost the original above important documents too, so please if anyone finds and returns it, I would really reward him.

i guess you already reported that to the Police.

i wish you good luck get your things back mate .. :(

IF you have the serial number, or the dealer who sold the computer to you has the information, you could ask Lenovo to put a note that it is stolen on the service network computer so if it ever turns up for service ...

BTW, laptop bags with computer names on the outside are advertisements that say STEAL ME. Always remove any logo's that suggest value.

My brother, who worked in Russia for years, carried all his goodies in one of those cheap striped carry bags used for groceries. I carry mine in a tattered back pack that a tramp wouldn't steal.

Hope you have luck.

P.S. Change all your passwords!

I did report to the police. They told me I need a letter from my company. So I need to provide that soon in order to get the police report. Thanks.

Yes, you are right about that. I guess I should have been more cautious because I heard that such incidents are common here especially in crowded places like Hara. And I was really lucky to  have not received any personal inuries as these people often carry knives and can harm you. I want this to be also a warning to all those who carry laptops and valuables, please be more careful wherever you go. These robbers can lurk around and keep a watch over you.

Thankyou!

Yes even I thought so but after explaining my story to them, they told me I need to get the letter from my company explaining the incident and requesting them for the Police Report. Without that they won't give the report.
