Hi there, I am currently in South Africa. And would like to visit Luanda for a few weeks. But i am finding it difficult to enter the country. I am told to have a letter of invotation from someone in Luanda. Is this true? Or do i just book a ticket and fly over.

Any direction will be appreciated.

Many Thanks

Armand

Depends on what kind of visa you apply for but you will need one to get in. A resident or a company will have to send you a letter and take full responsibility for your stay.

Good luck

You definitely going to need a visa before you travel to Angola.

obtaining that documentation will sort out what you require.

Don't forget the yellow fever vaccination (and all your other shots). Cannot enter without it or risk having the jab at the airport by an official.

I'd suggest organising with someone to look after you while you are there. At the very least pick you up from the airport. There is a taxi service but "service" can be haphazard.
