hello neha, how are you?

about your question of myopia,it is a refractive condition in which the eyes can see clearer at near but blurry at distance.there are 2 ways to correct it by eye glasses or contact lenses.but if the prescription of the eye test result is to high that's the time to have an operation called lasik.

Hi Neha,
Even though your question is very general, I will try to answer it the best way I can.
It really depends on how severe the myopia is. 0-3 diopters is light, 3-6 moderate and over 6 is severe. If it is not very serious, a surgery might be an overkill (yes, you can do LASIK surgery for myopia and get it corrected).
