Hello everyone,

I am really looking into moving to South America, mainly Brazil or possibly Argentina.I have been trying to see if anyone has had any luck importing to Brazil or Argentina since I know that both countries are very strict with products and tough on tariffs. I would like know any type of information that would benefit me or any other reader in the future. Things that would be useful would be 1) Which ports are better than others e.g. customs that are less  strict 2)Importing to a nearby country and using a border instead 3)Key things to say to import officials etc. etc

I know that tariffs are high, but obviously that will reflect on the price once the product arrives in Brazil. The product I will be importing (if I do so) would be a product that I would rather not say, however it is electronic
Any info on the importing game would be great.

Thanks guys
Danny

It is not hard to get a permit to import into Brazil, and the economy is very good, and Brazilians will pay high dollar for good imported items....just need to know what to import!   Good time with high Real value and low Dollar value!

Good luck.   Douglas
