Hi Tina,

welcome to our forum.

If you give us a bit more information about your situation and questions it would be a lot easier to give advice.

There are lots of posts in the various sections. Go through the last 6-12 months to find a lot of information.

Feel free to ask specific questions.

Cheers

Hi Tina,
I moved to Malta 3 months ago with my 2 children.  What ages are yours?
I've got a 1 1/2 year old and a 4 year old.  They are both currently at nursery for 3 hours on a week day morning and I'm in the process of looking for a school for my eldest ready for September.
We moved from Surrey and are really loving it.  That being despite the very cold winter that we are having.   We are looking forward to the summer!

Hey there! I think that the first thing that you should do is to set up a few appointments with estate agents who can show you flats when you arrive. I would not rent a flat before seeing it. In Malta the there are lots of flat for rent and you can pic one in a day if you wanted to. Stay in a hotel for a week until you find a flat. Then settle down, get an ID card. Is there something specific you would like to know.

I am sending you the link to an online gallery with albums of Malta to give you an idea of how it looks. There are photos of Valletta which is the capita in case you would like to live there, however Sliema and St Julians are more central (but more exp) https://picasaweb.google.com/110187850795187310308

Just let us know what advice you need :) Take care

Hey Tina,
We moved here in October. I have a 2 year old daughter. There is a really nice group of mums and kids here. We had a holiday here first to check the place out, different towns etc and settled on Sliema. There is a lot of places to rent so maybe start getting in contact with the local estate agents. We used Remax and they were great. If you need any help with specific things just email me on here and I´ll see if I can help. Good Luck xxx
