As a new Father to a little girl born in Taploban, to a Philippino Mother & a British Father (Not Married).
What is recomended by others, do I need to register her with the UK embassy in country, she is or soon will be register offically in the local system that I am am her father & she will be carrying my end surname, any advive welcome

well here in the philippines there is such a thing as assumption of paternity..i'm just not sure if the child would carry your surname..it would be better to register her with the british embassy also so that the child would have a dual citizenship..

Dual citizenship is indeed the way to go...things can happen, you know.

you can do both. however, you have to be sure that your child has your name in her birth cert.

for local registry, you have to sign at the portion designated in the forms for late registration (if she wasn't registered at the time of birth).
