Hello, my husband and I are very interested in moving to Belize. We will be touring the area for a week mid-summer. If all goes well, we'd like to move at the end of the year. So far, Corozal is the most appealing (affordability, on the water, less rain). Is there a gym in the area??? We both work out daily and would be challenged without one. We are also looking at Ambergris Caye but feel it's probably too expensive. Placencia is another possibility. Suggestions? Thank you !

Hello....we are moving to Caulker Caye in Dec! I hope you like your area...that was our 2nd choice, but we decided on no cars and all water! We haven't gone down for a visit, we are just going...I will keep an eye out for your visit results! Hope it all goes well!!! Cathy

hi guys
i am in corozal dist.. the weather here is perfect!
compared to the reat of belize- yes corozal is milder.. now that does not mean that it doesnt get hot here! today is is 33 deg C.. and yesterday it was 36 C.. but it cools nicey at night - the rest of belize not so much. If you want the beach areas of the cayes- u have humid warm weather - and the beach! but the costs are 50 % higher than the mainland. I visit the cayes for a vacation (3 days) and them come back home to corzal
enjoy your time in belize it is a wonderful place to visit and live
