Any information will be appreciate.
I speak English and also Spanish and a bit of French and Italian. My partner speaks French and also Spanish.
We just one to know which is the best way to get a job.
Can somebody help us?
Thanks a lot!
It would be fine to find Spanish people!

Hi OMACA,

welcome to the forum. You will find a lot of information in the various sections about Work, Cost of Living, Accomodation and so on. I think most of your questions will find an answer there.

Your partner does not speak English ? That would be very difficult in Malta.

What kind of jobs are you looking for? The chance of finding a job in Malta depends on your qualifications.

Cheers
Ricky

Thanks Ricky!
I will check into the various sections.
Really, he doesn´t speak English!
I`m looking for a job into the import-export, logistics, customers, purchasing areas but I don´t care to work in another area.I`m Public Relations but since I started to work I get involved into that areas I told you before.
My partner is psicologist into organisations and he is also transport´s technician and quality systems.
Could you please let me know where can we get some info?
May be you know links or whatever you can offer to us will be helpful.

Cheers

In the 'Work' section you will find many posts related to finding work and links for job agencies. Maybe you can find something in the areas you are looking for. But it can be difficult to find an interesting job in Malta and it can take some time.

I'm sorry to say that I'm fairly sure your husband will not find a job if he does not speak English . Maltese is the main language in Malta but English is the common link between Maltese and foreigners and between foreigners.

Cheers
Ricky

MayanMistica

Hello everybody,

I am living in Holland ,but I need  some information about health care system in Malta .Somebody very close to me is going to travel tomorrow to Malta and they have baby.Where they can ask about vaccination and other medical things needs in Malta?Do they need to have inssurance ? What exactly they have to do?Thank you very much.

ricky

Hi MayanMistica,

welcome to the forum.

They should make sure that they have health insurance or health care entitlement (EHIC).

If not they will have to pay privately for any health treatment.

If they are relocating to Malta it could be difficult as they will need a work permit that is subject to conditions.

Cheers
Ricky
