Expat-Blog is wonderful place to ask questions pre and post arrival and to make friends, virtual and real, to assist the transition into a new city, in our case Beijing.

However, to quote me .... even in today's eWorld and iWorld social interaction in a friendly and supportive environment opens many doors that are often closed to those who depend solely on somebody @ somewhere.

So lets get-together to meet some real people living here in Beijing.

These events will repeat every Tuesday with the venue rotating on a monthly basis. Each get-together will have a theme but all welcome to every event.

All events will start at 7:30pm giving us a chance to get a bite to eat before we meet.

April 2012:

3 April 2012
Venue: RC Bar, 2nd Floor Ritz Carlton.
Theme: For a better life.

10 April 2012
Venue: Flames Bar, 5th Floor Hilton Wangfujing
Theme: Opportunity Knocks - Matchmaking Job Seekers with Job Hunters.

17 April 2012
Venue: Zeta Bar, 2nd Floor Hilton Beijing.
Theme: Creative Types - e.g. Fashion, Art, Media, Entertainment and PR, Advertising, Marketing and Sales.

24 April 2012
Venue: Loong Bar, 2nd Floor JW MArriott.
Theme: Financial and Business types

All events are informal social occasions to provide a chance to meet fellow Expat-Bloggers and more.

damn. looks like i just missed out.

Any more events coming up in May?

I'm also trying to find some new arrivers in BJ to go to great wall and whatnot with me. It appears that the local friends I've made wont go with me coz its all like 'been there, done that' for them.

There will be no event on Tuesday 1 May because of the holiday.
