Hi all,

I cannot believe that I did nto know of such a blog! Wow! so happy to see so many expats chatting here.

I have arrived here 2 months ago and am from South Africa, Cape Town. I am currently living in Flic en Flac and loving it so far.

Anyways on Saturday I decided to drive on towards Tamarin and I came across a cosy little place called La Place. It has a market on Saturdays and it was really nice to walk around there. Its just after Cascavelle on your way to Tamarin. Its also nice for those with kids as it has slides, a playhouse and other things for kids to play on. I got some fresh veggies and cakes there and off I went to Tamarin. Its also nice for those with kids as it has slides, a playhouse and other things for kids to play on. Spent some time walking on the beach there which was such a bliss.

I really hope to meet some expats and some fellow south africans soon.

Take care!

No problem :)

We need to scout out and let others know of all potential hanging out spots especially those that are kids friendly :)

Take care!
