saudi visa advice please

my gf is wanting to move to saudi to live with her parents and wants me to go with her ,
her father has told me he can get me a job with a friend of his for the enginerring company he runs ,
i have worked in enginerring in the uk for 7 years and i have a basic enginerring city and guilds certificate level 2 ,

im not worried about the getting the job as this is pretty much already on the table , what i am worried about is when doing some research it says you have to have your certificates validated to get your work visa to see if it is relvant to what your new job entails , i like i say i have a basic cert just wondered if this is enough and was just wondering how strict they are on this

They were not strict @woody08 but the rules of game are changing fast. That's part of the new wave of saudization.

Needless to say, the rules are quite new and I doubt anyone would be able to share first-hand experience yet. Though, we confirm that your understanding is right.

i see , well hopefully it will be ok , my certifcate is in enginerring and thats what i will be doing so there sholdnt be too many issues

Unless this has also changed recently you don't actually have to have certificates and degrees you can get in on market place experience so the fact that your certificates were of basic level doesn't mean you don't have enough
