Moving to Malta , finally !

Post new topic

Well it's been along time happening , but we ve finally sold in UK back in March . And we fly out to Malta this week to complete on a very small Penthouse in Marsascala .
But thats just the beginning of another chapter , as i know how to sort and purchase a bathroom and kitchen and have them installed by September , so the final move of me and Alfie (dog) can happen and get out of this soggy place !
We looked at loads of bathrooms and tiles and kitchens when last over , but have not really found something for our budget . All have been far too exspencive . And the debate is still on do we bring it with us .
We normaslly use Cooke and Lewis kitchens from B&Q and do it ourselves , or Homebase . Im after a white kitchen , i like the country look but relise we might have to go modern ! Has anyone any idea of where to try ?  We would like to get kitchen and appliances for under 6000 euros , is it possible , we only have a small L shape to work with just under 3 meters each way .
The rates we ve been told for tiling are more than the cost of tiles we choose ! Anyone know of a place for tiles ? i m into faily neutral , and natural shades or white , nothing too fancy . Any help gratefully received we arrive Friday for 2 weeks and this has ALL got to be selected to go in over summer , anyone know a tiler they d recomend , water and electric needs conecting !
