Where to buy home theater?

Hello all! I am looking to purchase some decent quality home theater equipment (receiver, speakers, and TV), and was looking to have help from some of the experts here to point me in the right direction. I have seen a couple of stores, but unsure of the reputation or if there are knockoff brands.

I have also thought to buy from SG or HK, but was unsure about customs tax.
