Hi Guys
Looking for some advice.
Hoping to secure work in Dhahran, but want to remain living in Bahrain. If i was to live in Hamala/Jasra what would be commute time to Dhahran and are there many people doing this. I would start at 7 and finish at 4. Have 2 kids and want some advice from people that might be doing same. Thanks

Aurélie

I work in khobar but visit Manama for meetings and all on daily basis. Morning Hours - 35 to 60 mins
Evening hours between (5-7) 45 mins to 1.25 hour.

I'd suggest that check with some rental companies like "Majestic" they drive people across everyday. I travel in the opposite direction plus weekends in saudi is on Thursday n Friday.

Hi Specialist1 and welcome to the forum,

First of all, a lot of people are doing that, so it is doable !
In the other hand, the same "lot of people" will be on the bridge probably with same timings as yours.
This makes the bridge crossing sometimes hectic. You will have to be patient... But at least, for your family life in Bahrain is much cooler than in Saudi :D

Cheers

Olivier
