Hi all,

My name is Tom. I arrived in Oslo only a week ago for a new job at the NHST Media Group and am keen to meet more people of all nationalities. I am a 27-year-old British guy who enjoys socialising, sport (including rugby, kayaking, tennis, squash, cycling and cricket, among others), travelling and exploring new places (towns, any city and country attractions etc). So if anyone is interested in hanging out - even if it's for a coffee - and making the most of the great surroundings there seem to be in and around Oslo, call/text me on my Norwegian number.

It would be great to meet more people, as I am sure most people are like that when they first move to a new city.

Hey Tom,

How's it going? I will be moving to Oslo from the 12th of June, obviously a lot to sort out when I move. I have a job to go to and a place to live, so that rules out two of the biggest things that other people seem to have to deal with!

I'm moving from England but originally from Wales. Pretty much the same interests apart from cricket. I'm 26, 27 in July!

Let me know if you want to grab a beer or coffee, maybe some tap water as it's too expensive to drink! ;-)

Cheers

Marc

Hello,

So you arrived in Oslo a week ago? What do you make of the place so far? I moved here in February.

Hi David,
Been here nearly three weeks now. Really like it here - it's a fantastic city with so much to do. Fortunately, the weather has mostly been superb, so I have managed to get to some of the islands, up to the big ski jump up the mountain and most of the attractions.
Did some rugby training last week, so once work quietens down - hopefully next week - I should be able to do that more often.
Don't know if you live in the city centre area (I'm in Adamstuen) but if ever you want to go for a pint, give me a shout.

Hi Tom,

Glad to hear you've been enjoying it. You've certainly had great weather. Hopefully there is some more of it in store. Good that you have made the most of it and seen some of the sights.

I'm close to the city centre, in Vålerenga. Would be nice to meet up for a pint at some point. We should start saving up now so that we can afford it!

Hey Tom, glad you've been enjoying it here in Oslo :)

I wrote to Sheepy (I mean Marc) on his post and we have yet to meet up, fancy coming with us?  We've all just got to pick a time and a place :)

OI b***htits! You leave my Shaun alone! He'll attack you, you know?!

The only nights I can do this week will be tonight and Wednesday night. As I'm off to celebrate Midsummer, Swedish style!

Adamstuen is just up the road from me. I'm sure there are few places either in the city or around Bislett/Adamstuen

By tonight you meant yesterday right? >_< doh...
I'm watching the match tonight (That means football Marc) and have a cruise on the Oslo Fjord on Thursday (perks of the job...), think I'm free for the rest.
