Hi, Dao.

Many thanks for your message.

I am now trying to know Oslo as more as possible, and I am also looking for school to learn Norweigian language.

I will be glad if I can get more oppertunity to know more people here.

I got a work permit for 3 years in Norway, then I can extend the period.

Take care.

Hi Jasmine,
Welcome to Norway. You can try to find a Norskkurs in folk univesity(folkeuniversitetet). I am also a new comer, and from Shanghai.
Wish you a happy life here.:)

jasminejasmine

Nice to meet you here, William, my homeborn friend.

Let's share interesting thins experienced in norway.

By the way, what's Norskkurs?

I am now looking for an apartment with 2 rooms for some friends in the residence of Messepromenaden where I am now living. If you have any informatin, pls give a hand. Many thanks.

Norskkurs:Norwegian course. You can find details on website of folkeuniversitetet. As to housing, I suggest you try FINN.no and searching by conditions. It is not easy to find a satisfied apartment, but FINN is helpful.

jasminejasmine

Thanks a lot , William.

My friends already found an apartment with 2 room near Thune.

Regarding Norsk, still a big challenge to me. I can speak English and Portuguese, but I really find norsk very different.

jasminejasmine

Muito obrigada, Jose. espero mais communicacao contigo.

Glad to know you , Jose. Wish you a pleasant stay here in Norway.

What's the difference between Portugal and Norway in terms of life style and cost?

Jasmine

JoseB

Coming from Portugal, everything here is much more expensive and it becomes hard to spend money, you have to be more selective and cut down on a few things which I used to take for granted such as food drinks etc... Breathing is pretty cheap in Norway and it is fine clean air, as far as I know they do not have any tax on that yet.Enjoy while it lasts.

jasminejasmine

Yes, the most valuable thing here is air and water, high quality and free of charge, hehe

Before,I didn't need to check price first in a market, here, you can't ingore the price. always price first. muito cara
